Have you recently experienced one of life’s transitions such as losing a loved one, becoming a parent for the first time, or going through a divorce?

Maybe you have recently retired, are starting a new job, or are suddenly finding yourself in an empty house…

Any of these changes, and more, can bring up emotions and questions that perhaps you didn’t expect and now you find yourself not quite sure how to navigate them.

Therapy is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, to build resilience and self-esteem, to explore fears for the future and pain of the past, and to understand behaviours holding you back whether in relationship with others or yourself. In this therapeutic space, my focus is on creating a safe, nurturing environment where you feel heard, valued, and understood. My approach is gentle and collaborative, respecting where you’re at and helping to guide you at a pace that feels right, free from judgement.

Meet Kathryn

Hello!

I’m a BACP registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I’m a mum of two, wife of one!, daughter, sister, and friend living in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

I believe people matter. Each and every one of us has an individual story that has shaped our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us.

Once we understand that story, we have the knowledge to heal, and knowledge is power. My aim is not only to help you unlock this power but to help equip you with the tools to help you navigate life’s transitions and challenges.

Self-esteem, anxiety, depression, stress management, loss, bereavement, grief, life transitions, trauma & childhood trauma, abuse & domestic abuse, anger management, divorce, maternal mental health, parenting, working with parents of children who have disabilities and/or additional needs.
